  • Expidition Africa Africa 13 May 2016  This is a multi-discipline endurance sport where competitors compete in teams, navigating from control point to control point in a number of disciplines which include: mountain biking, trekking, kayaking, rope work and orienteering. Teams are expected to navigate using a map and landmarks. Teams must be able to operate in harsh remote environments in all weather conditions.

  • Oyster festival 1 - 10 July 2016  

    Oyster enthusiasts, fitness fanatics and lovers of the good life, are you ready for this fun-filled lifestyle festival?
    With more than 100 activities spread over ten days there will be no shortage of fun.

    The programme includes many sporting and lifestyle events from swimming, bowls, and hiking to food and wine-tastings, live music, a special children’s programme and of course, lots and lots of oysters! Being one of South Africa’s most popular festivals with huge appeal for sports lovers, families and those in search of a great party, this year’s event is not to be missed!

  •  Karoo to Coast Mountain Bike Challenge 17 September 2017.             This is a 100km off road race from UNIONDALE to KNYSNA via the Prince Alfred's Pass. The route is scenic, challenging and riders are encouraged to train sufficiently for this event in order to maximise the enjoyment of the experience.  In order to maintain the quality of the event AND THE REGISTRATION it has been decided by the Lions Clubs of Uniondale and Knysna that only 4200 entries will be made available in 2016. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
